Recently, IF DESIGN AWARD 2022 announced the winners in Berlin, Germany. The three products : Single-use Choledochoscope, Honghu Orthopedic Surgical Robot, and Lingli® intelligent electronic stethoscope stood out from more than 10,000 works from 57 countries, and won the 2022 iF Product Design Award. The single-use choledochoscope is from MicroPort® Urocare Medical Technology (Jiaxing) Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as “MicroPort® Urocare”), Honghu Orthopedic Surgical Robot (hereinafter referred to as "MicroPort® Honghu®") is from Shanghai Microport Medbot(Group)Co.,Ltd. (02252.HK, hereinafter referred to as "MicroPort® Robot") , and the Lingli® intelligent electronic stethoscope (hereinafter referred to as "Lingli®") is developed by Shanghai Duowen Medical Technology Co., Ltd, and these three companies are subsidiaries of MicroPort® Medical Science Co., Ltd. The three products were unanimously recognized by the international jury in five dimensions: design concept, product aesthetics, functional innovation, social influence, and its uniqueness.

The iF Design Award was founded in 1953 and is held annually by the Hannover Industrial Design Forum, the historic industrial design organization in Germany. The award is known around the world for its "independent, rigorous and reliable" award concept. Among them, the iF Product Design Award is an innovative product design award only open to enterprises under the iF Design Award, and the winning works can obtain the iF logo.

MicroPort® Urocare's winning product consists of a single-use choledochoscope and its image processor. The system can visualize the bile ducts, be used for diagnosing benign and malignant tumors, and treat the gall stones and biliary strictures, which can greatly reduce the difficulty of operation and reduce the use of X-rays. Based on the functions of traditional choledochoscopy, the system optimized the operating handle to provide the comfortable operation during the procedure; the 4 side bending directions and larger instrument channel make the field of view wider and more accurate, and at the same time, it can allows a larger Biopsy forceps to grasp more tissues, which is of great significance for clinical diagnosis and treatment.
